A receita é da Mafalda, adoro as receitas e a estética do projecto Dias com Mafalda.

I was trying to write something proper for this photo, but I don´t find the right words. It might not be a perfect photo (technically speaking) , but I just love it soooo much...it really touch me, but I cannot describe exactly why.

.. i belive it is the light, the simplicity and truth love, the small baby and most of all, to see that a woman can keep her sensuality and beauty even after 8 days of giving birth...

Estava a tentar escrever algo bonito e fantástico para esta fotografia, mas não encontro as palavras certas. Poderá não ser uma fotografia perfeita (tecnicamente falando), mas eu gosto tanto, tanto... toca-me de uma forma especial, mas não consigo explicar muito bem porquê.

...acredito que seja pela luz, simplicidade e amor verdadeiro, pelo bébé tão pequenino e acima de tudo, por ver que uma mulher pode manter a sua sensualidade e beleza, mesmo apenas 8 dias passados do momento do parto...

The swallow girl

The swallows like the warm weather, the flowers and the sky. They return every spring to Europe and in Autumn they fly far away, so far, all the way back home. Elizabeth is from South Africa, but lives in Malta. Every year she flys many hours just to see her family. She is the swallow girl.

As andorinhas gostam do quente, das flores e do céu. Todos os anos na Primavera voltam à Europa e no Outono voam longe, bem longe, até casa. Elizabeth é da África do Sul, mas vive em Malta. Todos os anos ela voa durante várias horas só para ver a sua família. Ela é, a miúda andorinha.

 

 

Fall

The first rain drops of Autumn. The long sunny days are gone, the routines change, the light is now more melancolic and beautiful. It is an introspective season and is a perfect time to find our souls into nature.

Little Star ★

This little star is half German, half Maltese.
One thing I really like in Malta is the multicultural environment. We can meet people from different places and it is an amazing experience. Maybe, one day, she will decide to leave the small island and get to know the world, being completely free and wild...
No matter what her future will be, her heart belongs to the Mediterranean sea.

Esta pequena estrelinha é meio alemã, meio maltesa.
Uma das coisas que mais gosto em Malta é o ambiente multicultural. Podemos conhecer pessoas dos mais diversos pontos do mundo, o que torna a nossa vivência por aqui ainda mais especial. Talvez um dia, esta miúda, saia da ilha para ir conhecer o mundo, de mochila às costas, livre e selvagem...
Não importa o que será o futuro, o seu coração já pertence ao azul do mar mediterrâneo.

Ser fotógrafa é também dar colinho e certos momentos tornam-se mágicos. Lilianna, 8 dias.

MoM to Be

This photo session took place 6 days before Joanna gave birth. In the early hours, we found Malta's nature and although there were clouds in the sky, we had a great time together.

I didn't know this couple before the session and it is always a big challenge to make people relax and be themselves. My goal is to capture the moments as they are, the true essence of each person... this is not always easy, but I think I'm heading in the right direction. Today I will meet little new born, Lilianna for the first time... I am very much looking forward to this!

Esta sessão fotográfica decorreu 6 dias antes do nacimento da bébé. Levantámo-nos bem cedo (6h) e embora o tempo estivesse com ar de chuva, passámos uma manhã muito agradável a passear pela natureza maltesa.
Eu não conhecia este casal antes da sessão e é sempre um desafio enorme conseguir que as pessoas relaxem e sejam elas mesmas. O meu objectivo enquanto fotografa é capturar os momentos como eles são, assim como a verdadeira essência de cada pessoa ... nem sempre é fácil, mas estou a construir o meu caminho nessa direcção...

Hoje irei conhecer a recém nascida Lilianna...já espreitei umas fotos e é l i n d a!!!
