Nuno, Marisa and the little Marília are Portuguese as well and we met here in Malta. Two weeks ago we made this lovely photo session to keep forever these small and special moments from their lives... enjoy this moment.

Atenção, atenção! Segurem os corações, pois vão começar a derreter!!!
O Nuno, a Marisa e a pequena Marília também são portugueses e conheci-os cá em Malta há mais de um ano. Por cá não somos muitos, quando temos a oportunidade de falarmos na nossa lingua materna, sentimo-nos um pouco mais em casa. Há cerca de duas semanas fizemos esta sessão para que possam guardar para sempre estes momentos especiais e fase única nas duas vidas... espero que gostem!

Malta is a small and peculiar country, full of history and life. The Maltese people enjoy their lives in a Mediterranean traditional way; therefore it will not be hard to find neighbours talking from their windows, loud church bells, people sitting at the doorstep, hawkers, stone houses, antique doors, cars from the 60s, among other things. It's a challenge to our senses and the colours that we find around here are truly inspiring. For today, I leave you some little moments from our previous weekend. We had friends over from Portugal and it was great to rediscover the island from a different perspective.

Malta é um país pequenino e muito peculiar, cheio de história e de vida. Por cá vive-se de uma forma muito tradicional, à boa maneira do mediterrâneo e por isso, não será difícil encontrar vizinhos a falarem às janelas, sinos a anunciarem a próxima missa, pessoas sentadas à porta de casa, vendedores ambulantes, casas em pedra (lindas!), portas antigas, carros dos anos 60, entre outras coisas. É um verdadeiro desafio para os nossos sentidos e as cores que por cá encontramos, são verdadeiramente inspiradoras. Por hoje, deixo-vos alguns pequenos momentos do fim-de-semana passado. Tivemos visitas de Portugal e foi muito bom redescobrir a ilha de uma prespectiva diferente.

new work// Sunrise Girl

The first post in my brand new blog...I can't believe it! I had this project in mind for a long time and finally it is launched online. I would like to share a bit of my photography work, but also some special moments from everyday life...

This photo session started at 6:30 AM and was my first sunrise in Malta. It was so nice, warm and beautiful. We had a great time and loads of fun!! Jasmin is very sweet and positive...she made it a pleasure to wake up at 5h30 AM
After 3 hours we had a well deserved breakfast at Mint. What else can we ask for? Enjoy this moment!
